CMS 5-Star Center Recognition

Our Center has received a Five Star Quality Measures rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The Five-Star Quality Rating System is a tool to help consumers select and compare skilled nursing care centers. Created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2008, the rating system uses information from Health Care Surveys (both standard and complaint), Quality Measures, and Staffing. The Nursing Home Compare website features the rating system.

Joint Commission Approved

Our Center has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organizations commitment to providing safe, effective patient and resident care. Our Center underwent a rigorous on-site survey. During the review, Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated compliance with nursing care center standards related to several areas, including assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of care, staff education and training. Surveyors also conducted on-site observation interviews with leaders and staff of the organization.

I am currently a patient here and have been the last 5 months due to health issues and I have received PHENOMENAL care by the most caring, loving, and attentive staff that goes above and beyond to not only see to their patients physical needs but go the extra mile to do what it takes to support their emotional needs as well. They love what they do and it shows in their hard work! Everyone knows me by name, never passes by me without a smile, hello, how are you, and usually a hug. I am always clean and yes, sometimes it takes time to get the call light answered, but let's be REAL honest! Emergencies happen and there is a medium to high patient/CNA ratio in ANY facility!! However, I've waited more than 2 and 3 hours in several other facilities. I will admit, the food is not the best, but I'm an extremely picky eater, so you can take that with a grain of salt.
